Prep Time: 5 minutes
Make Time: 20 minutes
Serves: Varies depending on moulds
2 tbsp Nutra Organics gelatin powder (you can add a little more if you want to make them more solid or a little less if you would prefer to make them more like jelly)
250ml your choice of fresh juice
1 tsp Nourish Lane ginger honey
In a small Pyrex jug combine the gelatin powder with the water and allow the gelatin to ‘bloom’.
Warm your juice slightly in a saucepan on the stove top over low heat and add in the honey allowing the honey to liquefy and mix through.
Combine the gelatin bloom and juice mixture together in the jug then pour into Christmas shaped silicon moulds.
Place in the fridge for about 30 minutes or once they feel solid enough to remove from the moulds.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Gelatin can naturally boost the bodies production of collagen and is also a good source of the amino acid glycine which can help to strengthen and repair the lining of the gut, which in turn helps to improve digestive health and also support the immune system.
Additionally, collagen can also help to strengthen body tissues such as bones, joints and muscle tissue and also strengthen skin, hair and nails.
